ZT Systems Sponsors Row to the Future Program

2014-rttf
ZT Systems is proud to sponsor the 2014 Row to the Future Breakfast in Seattle, empowering youth throughout the Puget Sound community to make healthier lifestyle choices now and in the future.

“This partnership is a great example of ZT Systems’ continuing commitment to the communities we call home,” said Brent Miller, Vice President of Marketing & Business Planning for ZT. “Our business has thrived because of the way our technology helps empower people and communities through the cloud. We’re thrilled to be able to give back in a way that is meaningful for our staff and the communities they are a vital part of.”

Row to the Future’s program is unique among urban sports, leveraging strong partnerships to create an innovative network of youth program opportunities. The 2014 Row to the Future Breakfast will honor the successes of the past year, which has been pivotal in bringing the conversation about youth rowing to a national platform. In the Puget Sound region alone, 2013 saw Row to the Future and affiliated programs introduce indoor and outdoor rowing to thousands of youth.

About Row to the Future: Row to the Future is the youth development initiative of the George Pocock Rowing Foundation. We are introducing students to indoor rowing through P.E. classes in Seattle Public Schools as part of Erg Ed, our school-based program. Erg Ed provides opportunities beyond the classroom through camps, field trips and indoor-rowing competitions. We also provide support for on-the-water rowing as part of Rainier Valley Rowing (RVR), which helps students overcome barriers to participation in traditional junior rowing programs such as cost, swimming ability and transportation.
